100 youth make decisions at Freedom316

300 young people from around Canterbury attended the Freedom316 event hosted at Living Waters at the end of last year.  Daz and Bree Chettle have been leading Freedom316 events for the last 3 years after God placed it in their heart to hold city wide youth events for Christians and non- Christians alike, where the Gospel is unashamedly preached.  A friend of Daz’ came over from the Gold Coast for the event and began by rapping the gospel and then preached his heart out.   It was so incredibly powerful to see so many young people have an encounter with Jesus for the first time. It was a very significant night in the lives of a lot of youth.  Over 100 young people responded to the alter call! A 50-year-old customer of Daz’ drainage business attended and met Jesus in a powerful God encounter.  “Even if you're 50 years old and at a youth event, God can massively impact your life!” shared Daz, “Anytime, anywhere, because no one is that lost that they can't be found!"  Another Freedom316 event is scheduled for November 2017, after the Hamilton and Auckland events.

Daz works closely with his senior pastors Wes and Janet Chambers at Living Waters and is blessed to have a team of around 30 leaders who help him with the Freedom316 events.  Daz travels around New Zealand and Australia preaching at youth camps and Sunday morning services and training in evangelism.
