This evangelism resource was originally designed by Totara Springs Camp director Malcolm Barrow. After years of searching for a resource as good as the one that was lost over time, NZ Evangelist Graham Ashby, has had the booklet redesigned and reprinted. It is revitalised, modern, attractive and relevant with multicultural graphics.

The PATH TO LIFE 18-page booklet was designed to be used in a one-to-one context but can also be used as a Bible study to help children understand the Good News of Jesus Christ in a more detailed way. (Not designed for handing out in bulk to unknown recipients)

The PATH TO LIFE has been designed with a simplicity to it that makes it a profound and helpful tool for every Counsellor, Teacher, Leader, Parent and Grandparent. This excellent booklet can be used by all ages to help a child discover God’s Good News to them in Jesus. The prayer is that the PATH TO LIFE will be used to grow a child's heart and knowledge of the Lord, and that God’s teaching Spirit will lead all readers to the truth of personally knowing God’s Son as their Saviour.

The PATH TO LIFE offers three main guidelines within one little booklet.
1. Firstly, the primary goal was to give illustrated steps with Bible references that help lead a child to salvation in Christ.
2. Secondly, to give Biblical assurance to a child who may have made an earlier decision to believe and trust Jesus.
3. Thirdly, to show the Bible’s way on how to grow as a Christian.

The PATH TO LIFE is concisely constructed so that step-by-step the reader learns about:
• The love of God
• God’s sadness with sin
• God’s answer to the sin problem
• The Gift of God’s Son
• The response God wants from us
• The decision we all need to make
• How that decision needs to be made
• What happens when we make that decision
• How to grow as a Christian
• But what if I sin?
• How to keep from sin
• The importance of Christian friends
• God’s promises to His children
• How to make your Christian life exciting

The PATH TO LIFE provides a decision page to record the special moment/day the child believed and trusted the Lord Jesus to be their Saviour. Another page is available to place your church logo or organisation’s stamp on it. Finally, there is a page for the counsellor to write a few encouraging words to the child who has just been counselled.
